FAQ - GIFT CARDS
Do gift cards expire?
No. Kirkland’s gift cards have no expiration date or any hidden fees.

Can the recipient return the gift card for cash?

No. Gift cards can only be redeemed for Kirkland’s merchandise, except in the state of California.  Kirkland’s is compliant with California Civil Code 1749.5 which requires cash back on request for gift card balances under $10.00.

Can I ship gift cards to multiple addresses if I order online?

Yes, but you may only ship to a single address per order. If you would like to ship gift cards to multiple addresses you must go through the ordering process for each additional address.

What does the recipient receive when I order a gift card online?

If ordered online the recipient will receive the gift card enclosed in a gift envelope. The person ordering the card is given the option of including a customized message for that special someone.

Can I include a personal message?

Yes. If the gift card is ordered online there is an option of adding a personal message on a customized card holder mailed along with each gift card. A preview image is shown below.

How will my gift card be shipped?

Kirkland’s gift cards that are purchased online will be processed within 48 business hours. They are then shipped using USPS First Class Mail and can be expected to arrive in 5 to 7 days. We also offer other expedited shipping methods for your convenience, including next day delivery.

Can I use a gift card as payment on my Kirkland’s Credit Card?

No. Kirkland’s gift cards can only be redeemed for the purchase of Kirkland’s merchandise in stores. There are several convenient ways to submit payment for your Kirkland’s Credit card: online (through an electronic transfer from your checking account), postal mail (check or money order) or phone (from checking account with a $10 fee).

What if I lose my gift card?

If you do happen to lose your gift card, don’t worry. If the gift card was purchased online, simply contact our Guest Service department, and they will deactivate your current gift card and then credit your account with the amount remaining on the original gift card. You may then reorder your gift card, and your new card will be shipped to you.

If you lose a gift card that was purchased in a store, our store may be able to replace your gift card only if you have a receipt for the gift card. The gift card number on the receipt will be used to determine the remaining value on the card that was lost, and we will then deactivate and replace the lost card with a new gift card. Please contact the store nearest you for any issues concerning gift cards purchased in store.

Do I have to spend the exact amount on my gift card?

No. If there is a remaining balance left on your card after a purchase that balance will remain on your card until the next purchase you make. If you go over the amount on the card, then that amount will simply be deducted from your total balance and then you can pay for the rest of the transaction with any other method of payment.

Will I be charged late fees if I don’t use gift card for an extended period of time?

No. There are never any late fees associated with the use of our gift cards.
